The algorithm's functions can be summed up in three easy steps: search, provide results, then foster connections. The algorithm uses four data points (i.e. the last four digits of a phone number) to triangulate the same or similar information entered by other users. This allows customers to review the percentage ranked matches (i.e. 25%-100%) in seconds, then connect anonymously via email or direct messaging on the site to decide if they are romantically involved with the same person or have the same love interest.
The algorithm is protected under the USPTO and can be applied to multiple scenarios as well such as fostering victim to victim connections without violating privacy laws.
