Backend Developer (Remote)

We’re looking for a PHP Software Developer to join our growing team. The perfect candidate will be the one who can drive stellar results developing backend components and supporting the frontend developers. Working as part of our lively and expert development team, you will have a key role in developing, managing and delivering high quality web applications with additional responsibility for the technical quality of production and development delivery on time.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, Yii)
• Proficiency in object oriented programming
• Understanding of web site hosting and server technology
• Familiarity with process flow charting, wire frames, mockups, site maps
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Linux systems and experience with AWS managed services.
• Experience with Javascript & React JS
