The Plum Guide is building a marketplace of the world's best holiday homes.

We are taking a systematic and obsessive approach to testing every single home on the planet, and accepting only the top 1%.

OUR STACK


This is our stack. A healthy mix is desirable but ultimately we are looking for solid engineers who can learn quickly.

C#, .Net, MVC, Core, API, EF 

Cloud infrastructure, Azure, AWS 

OO, distributed and architectural design patterns 

SQL, NoSql, Redis, Elastic 

JavaScript, React, Redux, Storybook, Grunt, Webpack 

Code optimisation and performance 

CI / CD, TeamCity, Octopus 

Unit testing frameworks, Selenium, Cypress.io


THE ROLE


We are building a business that brings world leading technical excellence alongside incredible visual creatives and brand builders to be globally successful.

You will be joining a team of 6 skilled engineers working across our platforms using modern technologies. We are fast paced, pragmatic and execute like entrepreneurs.

You will:

Work on growth hacking features 

Improving our booking management flows 

Building resilient finance and payment systems 

Help plan and build our new microservices 

Build, maintain and monitor our cloud infrastructure, event processing and email platforms.


ABOUT YOU


The following are some examples of profiles that are relevant to us:

Have 3+ years development experience at startups, agencies or software companies. 

Full-stack engineering experience in C# and JavaScript is desirable but we're open-minded about your technology background. 

Advocate for modern tech, tooling and infrastructure. 

No ego and dedicated team player; we've got your back so make sure you have ours. 

You strive for responsibility and ownership. And lots of it. 

Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical people.
