Django/Python Developer

We are looking for a Django/Python developer with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. This is a freelance position working 80 hours per week. This is a virtual position working with a virtual team. You will work closely with the founder and other developers.

Our stack is Django REST Framework/PostgreSQL, using AngularJs on the front end.

The is an American Sports application, so it is ideal if you have an understanding of and interest in american sports NFL, NBA, MLB.

Responsibilities:

1. Write and document functions that run dynamic queries on our existing database. 

2. Manage current app and ensure apis and website are functional on a day to day basis 

3. Manage pre-existing sports simulations 

4. Engineer sports data for our predictive models 

5. Available during working hours on Slack and Appear.in for video/audio chats.
