Front-End Engineer

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and test features/functions delivered via applications and services 
• Collaborate with peers and seniors both within their team and across the organization 
• Work with product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high quality solutions on time 
• Work with operations teams to ensure your applications and services are highly available and reliable 
• Support your applications and/or services 
• Be driven to get results and not let anything get in your way 
• Demonstrate a high level of curiosity and keep abreast of the latest technologies 
• Show pride of ownership and strive for excellence in everything you do

Requirements 

• Minimum of 2 years of front-end engineering experience building consumer products 
• Ability to understand our users needs and improve the product experience years working with Javascript (ES6), CSS, Node.JS and 1+ years working with Python or C# 
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility 
• Experience working with UI Library and state-management libraries like React.JS, Redux 
• Ability to show a live site you have built with a UI component framework 
• Experience identifying code complexity, exploring and communicating alternatives, and refactoring it to be simpler
