Front-End Engineer

Reading Plus is looking for front-end engineers to join our Product Development team. You will collaborate closely with all team members to build a functional and scalable architecture for web applications that serve millions of students and educators.

• Connect front-end with back-end services
• Monitor, test and continuously optimize your code
• Deliver modern, testable and maintainable code
• Collaborate with other engineers, product owners/managers, UX designers, and QA

• Polymer library (substitute React or Vue)
• Web components (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML Imports & Templates)
• Git (no substitute)
• JavaScript (Async, Promises, Service Workers)
• CSS (familiar with the latest W3C working group snapshot)

Bonus:

• A degree in Computer Science or adjacent areas
