Frontend Engineer

WorkPatterns helps create a more effective, transparent and enjoyable workplace by providing data driven insights into how people communicate and collaborate. Our system ingests activity data from the tools people are already using and applies machine learning to generate insights that help people better utilize their most valuable asset, their time.

The frontend engineer will work closely with the Engineering and Design team to implement features, define systems and processes, and ship amazing code every day.

On a typical day, here are some projects you may work on:

• Building out major features for My Time analytics and collaborative workspaces 
• Working closely with our Head of Design to implement high fidelity mockups 
• Refactoring React/Redux architecture to follow best practices

Qualifications 

• 2+ years of software industry experience 
• Excellent proficiency in React and/or Redux 
• Growth mindset with a hunger to learn 
• Comfortable working on small teams in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong sense of user empathy 
• Our tech stack is React, Redux, Rails, PostgreSQL - familiarity with these is a plus
