Job Responsibilities


We’re looking for a frontend support engineer that enjoys solving problems and improving software. You'll be working at ground zero as the first frontend support engineer with the opportunity to have a major impact on how we support, implement, and build solutions for our enterprise clients.


Your responsibilities will include: 


• Working directly with our Head of Engineering to build out the support function 

• Closely monitoring and managing support ticket and error tracking queues, to make sure we are fulfilling our mission of getting people out and about as seamlessly as possible 

• Polishing our software by eliminating bugs and suggesting improvements 

• Investigating support requests and determining next steps to resolve issues 

• Owning incoming technical issues and skillfully delegating to other engineers when necessary

• Acting as a liaison between our engineering team and non-technical people; in other words, communicating technical jargon in layman’s terms and transcribing non-technical support requests into technical specs for our engineering team 

• Documenting issue resolutions where applicable 

• Refining the Support Engineer role by implementing new systems and processes and evolving existing ones


Requirements: 


• You have knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, and Redux, and the ability to understand and debug frontend code 

• You are as strong a listener as a you are a communicator 

• You genuinely enjoy working with others to solve problems and help improve the experience delivery platform that we're building
