About the Role
We’re seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer that is excited to be part of an early stage company that leverages machine learning and data analytics to curb energy usage in buildings - the largest contributor to CO2 emissions in the U.S. (more than transportation and industry).
You will drive the development of Onboard’s data collection and aggregation platform, as well as its web interface. You’ll be able to work with clients to develop new solutions for acquiring data, help expand our existing cloud-based data ingestion/aggregation platform, and improve our user-facing web portal by implementing new features. You’ll also support machine learning research and development projects for automatically classifying sensor data and implementing our analytics service.

- Experience with architecting cloud-based solutions.
- Experience implementing production grade software.
- Ambitiously creative, strong communication skills, ownership mentality.
- Ability to prioritize and cut through ambiguity in a startup environment.
About Our Tech (demonstrate experience with some or all)
- React/Redux for front end
- Python back end (Pyramid framework)
- PostgreSQL on Linux.
- Data ingestion platform leverages InfluxDB and multiple AWS technologies.
- Various DevOps / monitoring tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Git, ELK.
