Head Software Engineer

You should be knowledgeable about travel related websites, platforms, and resources

What You’ll Be Doing: 

We have a fully functional mobile application on the App Store and Google Play Store, however, we are looking for an engineer to add to our team. Development has been outsourced, but now we are trying to assemble a full-time team. As with any app, there is so much room for improvement. This is an opportunity to work with a young, rapidly growing startup.

We are looking for a lead developer with experience in mobile development on both iOS and Android platforms. Our backend framework uses Node.js and is stored in mySQL and AWS. The front-end framework uses Angular and bootstrap. Knowledge of these platforms is required.

As the Head Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 

Lead software development team to develop, document and maintain applications. 

Develop and manage software engineering applications utilizing standard development tools. 

Provide technical consultation as well as expertise to Product Managers. 

Stimulate hiring, career plans, training as well as performance reviews for software engineering team. 

Review all documents related to Product requirement and participate in product brainstorming sessions. 

Head responsibility to analyze, design, develop and support all software application systems. 

Provide leadership, management and technical vision to entire engineering team. 

Manage all software engineering schedules, budget and resource allocation. 

Manage joint development with 3rd party vendors as well as outsourced development
