Intermediate/Senior Full-Stack Developer

Responsibilities:

Wondering what your day-to-day will look like? We get it, you should. Chances are you’ll never get bored, but here’s a few things we’ll expect you to own and or participate in, as a full-stack developer.

• Node back-end development 
• React front-end development 
• HTML + CSS styling 
• Google Cloud infrastructure maintenance (Kubernetes engine + Compute engine) 
• Developing software to interact with the blockchain

Deal-Breakers:

Let’s not waste each other’s time - for this position, we need someone with the following experience. (But let's be real, Impostor Syndrome is a very real thing so if you think you check most but not all of these boxes, apply anyway!)

• 2+ years of professional software development experience (ideally 5+) 
• High degree of comfort with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (TypeScript is a - nice bonus) 
• High degree of comfort with React and Redux or another popular framework 
• Understanding of responsive design principles 
• Experience with testing and user acceptance best practices 
• Experience with git, webpack, and other development process tools 
• Experience working with remote teams is a bonus

Location:

SpankChain has brick-and-mortar offices in Los Angeles and Toronto, and we work with remote developers in New York and Russia. Ideally, you live in Toronto or L.A., but depending on the position for which you are applying, working remotely could be on the table for particularly stellar candidates.
