React Developer

At Biomarker, we use your existing health data to provide real-time, data-driven supplement insights and recommendations. The goal? To help you find out if and when any supplement(s) are actually helping you reach your goals. No two people react to supplements in the same way. That's why Biomarker measures users' symptoms, health metrics and an array of contextual information about their supplements to figure out precisely what's working, who to buy from and where to get it. Building on these insights, our models help every supplement user buy smarter - without ever second-guessing what they should take.

We seek a React developer to help build and optimize our consumer application.

Our application is built in React/Redux/JSX.

Here are some of the things that you will do here: 

• Implement, develop, test and scale new and existing product features 
• Collaborate with the project manager, designer, data science, and executive team to understand and foresee problems and opportunities 
• Be flexible with work hours, coming in early or leaving late every now and then 
• Work hours on end with your headphones on with impromptu hour long brainstorming sessions

Here are some things that will help you to be successful in this role. You don't need to have mastered all of these, but you should be at least proficient with most of them: 

• Experience developing and deploying low-latency, highly scalable web services and microservices 
• Connecting with internal and external API's with disparate functions. 
• Write super scalable queries to our structured and non-structured databases. 
• Proficiency in JWT 
• Mastery of React/Redux 
• Understanding of networking protocols and security best practices

The company is based in San Francisco, and this is an onsite position. Remote work may be considered if the situation fits.
