The Product: FutureFit AI 

Among other projects and ventures, Audacious Futures is incubating FutureFit AI, an AI-powered upskilling / reskilling solution for enterprises and governments.

It powers you to “explore” the world of careers and skills, set a “destination” for where you want to go next, it “locates” where you are starting from, recommends “pathways” to get there, and “guides” you along the way with both human and technology supports.

The Opportunity 

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer to help build and grow the product with ownership of the end-to-end development cycle from functional and technical analysis to design and programming to testing and maintenance.

Responsibilities 

• Your focus will be on the development of enterprise-level, web-based applications including: 
• Design, code and test web applications for desktops and mobile devices through modern technologies, including React, React Native, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. 
• Design and build quality, scalable, secure and high-performance web applications. 
• Maintain applications by finding defects, debugging, troubleshooting issues, and conducting code reviews alongside other developers.

• Substantive experience building web applications, preferably including enterprise applications

Experience with

• Front-end JavaScript frameworks React 4, React Native and Redux. 
• Responsive web design. 
• Development of APIs and RESTful services using Node.js and Express.js 
• PostgreSQL and MySQL. 
• Nginx or Apache. 
• Testing with frameworks like Jest. 
• Tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes. 
• Good understanding of design principles, patterns, and architectures including Microservices or Service-Oriented Architecture. 
• Working knowledge of the AWS service ecosystem. 
• Experience in dev-ops. 
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux. 
• Strong understanding of source code control and analysis tools, unit testing frameworks, and a continuous integration environment. 
• Experience practicing agile development methodologies like XP or Scrum.
