Senior Software Engineer

Retego Data is a profitable and growing technology and analytics company based in Portland Maine. The company aggregates sales data from 22 leading insurance companies to produce a market leading analysis product.

We have a new cloud based analytics system written in AngularJS that consumes data from Python APIs on an AWS Framework using Spark clusters and other modern infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop data visualizations that are compelling and effective
• Create extensible reports and dashboards using AngularJS
• Extend capabilities of our Python application for data analysis and reporting
• Develop and extend Python APIs to provide new data services

Requirements

• Strong experience and interest in relational databases and SQL
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience developing application code in Python, Java or similar language
• Experience with CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Experience using and developing APIs
