At Flashtract, our construction payment software is reclaiming the $40 billion wasted each year on contractors financing construction payments. Caused by archaic and inefficient processes used for submitting and receiving payments in the construction industry, these wasteful processes are ready to be turned into profit for contracting companies.


You Will: 


-Lead a team of skilled, in-house, developers with your experience launching and scaling a MERN tech stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) web application 

-Plan, design, and create new features on top of the current application 

-Integrate APIs and 3rd party apps with our current system 

-Become an expert on all things Flashtract, from the process that contractors currently use to how they will use and interact with our software 

-Monitor and maintain the app with processes that you choose and help put in place 

-Interact with customers to gain feedback and address technical issues


You will fit in perfectly if you: 


-Love working hard to solve complex problems with modern technology 

-Learn FAST and adapt quickly. You may not know what to do, but you can use all available resources to get a solution together 

-Enjoy working on the frontend, backend, or anywhere it takes to solve problems and satisfy customers 

-Have experience with launching and scaling multi-user, web applications, built with the MERN stack 

-Take pride in your work and iterate quickly, with small highly focused goals


Where your impact will be made: 


-You will be leading the team that is currently developing our web app. You will be instrumental in the design and development of future versions 

-You will be in charge of product launch and scaling, backed by a team of developers 

-Your decisions will have a direct impact on the future and success of the software and the company 

-Methods and processes that you like and/or have worked with in the past will be worked in with the company’s current QA and testing
