Web Developer

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Works with web technologies such as WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop, modify, and maintain web properties and web applications for internal and external clients of 33 Mile Radius. Works closely with the Marketing department to determine client requirements. Manages own workload and reports to the VP of Development Operations to determine priorities and goals.

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and updates web properties based on client requirements
• Maintains and monitors key infrastructure supporting the websites, including Linux and Windows-based web servers
• Collaborates with VP of Development Operations, Sales Manager, CMO, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and set expectations around deliverables
• Proactively identifies potential client problems and/or opportunities as related to the functionality of websites
• Creates and modifies data-driven web applications using common web and database development tools
• Performs code reviews and evaluates pull requests to ensure that code meets quality and functional requirement standards
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed to contribute to team effort

Requirements

• WordPress development experience a must-have
• Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other associated client libraries
• Ability to work in a team development environment and proficiency in team development tools such as Git
• Relational database skills a plus
• Demonstrated professional written, verbal and presentation skills
