Soshace Becomes a Media Partner of Running Remote in Bali

We are extremely proud and humbled to announce that we’ve become a Media Partner of Running Remote Conference that happens on June 29-30 in Bali.

Running Remote is the world’s largest remote work conference scoring nearly 400 attendees from more than 35 countries. For two full days, you’ll listen to 28 speakers holding 18 carefully curated sessions on actionable strategies and tactics to manage and grow your distributed teams.

If you’re an established entrepreneur, aspiring startup founder, or a professional who’s willing to grow within and outside your geographical boundaries, then Running Remote is the conference for you.

You’ll be amazed by the line-up of speakers gathering for the event, among those are:

Andrew Warner from Mixergy, whom we’ve also covered in our article on the Best Blogs for Entrepreneurs. Andrew Warner is a ‘rock star’ among know-it-all-gurus, moreover, he’s the complete opposite: laid-back and chill; yet still, possesses a vast quantity of wisdom and enigmatic charisma of making everyone in the room sit there and listen.

Marcie Murray, Global Director of Support at Shopify, a company that’s been remote for the past four years growing from the small team of 20 remote employees to full-fledged business with over 1,000 people in four different countries with their support team being completely remote.

Marvin Liao, a Partner at 500 Startups, a Global Seed Venture Capital Firm & Startup Accelerator based in Silicon Valley. He’d been working at Yahoo! for more than 10 years, juggling between various roles in Sales, Business Development, Ad Operations, and Marketing Departments, before he joined 500 Startups. Additionally, he’s a Mentor for several Startup Accelerator programs in Europe, Asia, Israel, and the US.

Nick Francis, co-founder, and CEO of Help Scout, a customer service tool used by more than 10,000 businesses. Help Scout is comprised of 90 remote workers from 70 cities across the globe. At the conference, Nick will talk about creating products people love and building a business with a far-reaching impact from scratch.

Amir Salihefendic, remote-first CEO of Doist, the company behind Todoist, and TwistAppTeam, who’s confident that the greatest products are created by people aware of the importance of cultural differences around the world. Doist is one of the examples of companies who have embraced the phenomenon of the global workforce by employing employees from more than 20 different countries.

Zack Onisko, perhaps, the coolest speaker on the list (we can be biased here, of course), a man behind Dribbble, the global community for designers and creative professionals. Who’s not fond of designers these days? Please, raise your hands. See, everyone’s fond of creatives. How couldn’t you be? Dribbble was founded back in 2009 and has grown to become the biggest and greatest community of designers around the world.

Andreas Klinger, who leads the remote strategy for AngelList, a company so famous, that probably even remote villages in Siberia have heard of it too: AngelList has over 1 Million candidates looking for remote roles and several thousand companies looking for global talent. Before joining AngelList, Andreas was a founding team member and CTO at ProductHunt, and VP of Engineering at CoinList. So he has a lot to say on building an outstanding remote engineering team.
