Microservices architecture support / Financial technology
December 2017 - November 2019

After spending a few months learning and contributing to the backend team on multiple projects, I was tasked with helping create a solid architecture to support new microservices.

By combining my experience with Python and people skills, I managed to learn all the necessary tools and collect all the possible feedback from multiple teams to create the standards and infrastructure every team in the company uses today.

I was happy to be the author of a big part of the foundation that runs company's microservices, from the base infrastructure, through security, to automation in all ends.

Founder and engineering / Software consulting
April 2016 - July 2017

We had this idea of joining forces among friends and starting something small. The company was then founded by me and a friend, who later became the president of the Brazilian Python Association. Soon we hired a few other designers and engineers to help create simple solutions for complex problems.

For more than a year – and I wish it could be more! –, I led our engineering team through all kinds of business challenges, from simple shopping and political websites to large multi-tenant data dashboards. I had the opportunity to learn more about people and their motivations, and transform all that into growth to all ends.

The company managed to deliver many clients, from multiple countries, fast and reliable software that helps them do what they do best.

Web scraping / Social media
September 2010 - April 2012

The social media popularity was rising fast, and companies quickly saw the potential in advertising their products in all networks. I was invited to lead a software platform to scrape data from all possible sources, with or without easy ways, and allow a team of brilliant people to observe tendencies and insights out of the whole cloud.

We were able to deliver big brands, from all over the world, a visualization of their social media presence and also provide advice that helped them to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction.

Not many tools were available to fetch and analyze data, so we all created a set of automated software pieces that dug deep and extracted the information we wanted.

Campus management / Education
September 2008 - December 2008

My participation in the campus as a student and also as a web advocate has led me to join the institute’s technology team and contribute to an innovative management application.

We were all pioneering with web technologies in the area, facing challenges to implement solutions to what the campus needed. A small room sized team, including me, delivered a modular platform that has grown to be a national wide academic resource management tool used by many institutes in the country.
