Lead Engineer

Wellnow is searching for a Senior Engineer to rebuild our tech team from scratch and lead the development of the #1 Health & Wellbeing platform + app for companies in Europe. Work with cutting-edge products, a high-end tech stack and amazing people.

Some milestones in our tech & product roadmap are: 

• Maintain and improve current infrastructure 
• Develop an automated invoicing solution in combination with a third party tool 
• Build an advanced calendar and appointment management solution for our customers to easily coordinate appointments 
• Create a self-service interface that enables our customers to manage their services individually and autonomously 
• Further develop our app so that our freelancers can better manage their daily work lifes 
• Establish a scoring algorithm to better allocate bookings among our freelancer network

Our current setup: 

• We have 3 main products: 1. the Therapist App, 2. the Operations Platform and 3. our Backend API. These products use the following technologies: 
• Therapist App - React Native/typescript 
• Operations Platform - React/typescript 
• Backend/GraphQL API in Node.js and MongoDB
• Our infrastructure runs on AWS, using Docker and the Hashicorp Suite (Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform), as well as some serverless functions.

Your responsibilities:

• Own our products and drive development of a stable platform as well as new features aligned with our Tech Roadmap (from ticket to deployment) 
• Make sure all deployed products work smoothly and reliable 
• Enable the business to scale in a sustainable way 
• Develop and grow the tech function with Wellnow in your newly created role, built up your team from scratch 
• Work with our product management in an agile environment and bring in your experience to set up the company for success 
• Manage future external vendors and tech partners
